The Chaves County DWI Program is committed to reducing the
incidents of DWI within
Chaves County and throughout the state of New Mexico. We're striving to make Chaves County
a safer community by reducing DWI by:

Provide Law Enforcement funding for saturation patrols,
equipment and other designated enforcement activities.

Assist courts with DWI offender
compliance through alternative sentencing, screening, alcohol/drug assessment, tracking, education
programs and treatment.

Prevent recidivism of high-risk offenders through
treatment programs.

Provide and sponsor events and activities that offer
education, alternatives and choices on alcohol and drug issues.
DWI Planning Council Meetings
DWI Planning Council meetings are schedule for the 4th Thursday of every month.
